Description:
The 10105/2/1 analog input module has sixteen fail-safe (AK5) analog inputs (0–4 V) and one external voltage read back input (0–4 V). All sixteen channels share an isolated analog 0 V common.
The 10105/2/1 requires field signals to be converted from 0–20 mA to a usable voltage level. This conversion can be done either on the FTA-T-14 field termination assembly or via the 10105/A/1 conversion module placed on a programming connector (Px) on the backplane.
The 10105/2/1 can also handle signals from thermocouples or PT-100 sensors, but only after they are converted to 0(4)–20 mA using a dedicated converter together with an FTA-T-14 or a 10105/A/1 module.
