The 3300 XL 25 mm Transducer System includes a probe, extension cable, and sensor with an output of 0.787 V/mm (20 mV/mil). This provides a linear range of 12.7 mm (500 mils), making it ideal for measuring differential expansion in steam turbines.

The 3300 XL system measures differential expansion using two probes aimed at a collar or ramp. The probes can be configured in various arrangements - both targeting the same side of a collar, or positioned on opposite sides to double the measurement range.

The mounting method for the 3300 XL depends on target size and rotor movement. When sufficient space is available on the collar, using two probes on the same side is the optimal configuration, providing two independent measurements for verification and confirmation of readings.
